Coach Connect LK Privacy Policy

Coach Connect LK ("the App") is provided by Ravan Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the App, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Coach Connect LK, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, and information generated by your use of the App:

Account information	Email address and password (or a Google or Apple account identifier, if you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple; with Apple you may choose to hide your email)
Profile information	Name, mobile number, date of birth, gender, height, weight, body type, fitness level, fitness goals, injuries or physical limitations you choose to share
Photos	Progress photos you choose to upload to track your fitness journey
Fitness and nutrition data	Workout plans, exercise logs, sets/reps/weights, meal plans, and check-in records you or your trainer create
Trainer–client relationship data	If you use the App as a trainer or client, the linkage between your accounts and any notes, plans, or chat messages (text and photos) exchanged through the App
Push notification token	A device token used to deliver notifications (e.g. new workout assigned, trainer message)

We do not use the App for advertising, and we do not use third-party analytics or ad-tracking SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account, and to authenticate you when you sign in
To provide the App's core functionality: workout plans, meal plans, progress tracking, and trainer–client coaching features
To send push notifications relevant to your account (e.g. a new plan was assigned, a trainer sent you a message)
To maintain the security and integrity of the App

3. How We Store and Process Your Information

Coach Connect LK is built on Google Firebase. Your data is stored and processed using the following Firebase/Google Cloud services:

Firebase Authentication — manages sign-in and account credentials
Cloud Firestore — stores your profile, plans, and logged activity
Firebase Storage — stores uploaded photos
Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications
Cloud Functions — runs backend logic that supports the features above

Google acts as our data processor for these services. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing Within the App

If you are a client, your assigned trainer can see the profile, workout, meal, and progress information relevant to coaching you. If you are a trainer, your clients can see the plans and information you share with them. This sharing is a core part of how the App works and is limited to the trainer–client relationship you have established in the App.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You can review and update most of your profile information from within the App.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account for clients, or the account menu for trainers). Deletion removes your profile, plans, logs, check-ins, chat messages, and uploaded photos, and revokes any Sign in with Apple token. You can also contact us at the email below.
You can block another user in a chat, which hides their messages and stops them messaging you, and you can report abusive users or messages. Reports (including the reported message text) are reviewed by our team and may be retained after account deletion to keep the App safe.
You can decline camera/photo library access; some features (progress photo uploads) will then be unavailable.
You can disable notifications for the App at any time from your device settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App's services. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or legitimate business purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Coach Connect LK is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including those provided by Firebase (e.g. encrypted transport, access-controlled storage), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
